In the past 3 days, I had the opportunity to participate as an instructor and invited speaker at the SRCUC Shoulder & Elbow Surgery Congress, held on March 19–21 in Timișoara, Romania.
This is Romania’s leading congress dedicated exclusively to shoulder and elbow surgery, organized by the Romanian Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SRCUC).
During the event, I had the opportunity to present and discuss topics including the remplissage technique, rotator cuff repair in the elderly population, and the role of lateralization in reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
At the kind invitation of Arthrex, I also participated in two workshops:
• A sports medicine session focused on the remplissage technique and the latest tensionable technologies in shoulder arthroscopy
• A session dedicated to V.I.P. preoperative planning and lateralization strategies in shoulder arthroplasty
Timișoara proved to be a vibrant and welcoming city, with a strong cultural identity and an excellent setting for a high-level scientific meeting. The scientific level of the participants was truly outstanding, fostering rich discussions and meaningful exchange of experience.
My sincere thanks to SRCUC and Arthrex for the invitation, the excellent organization, and the opportunity to share knowledge with such an engaged and highly skilled community.

Nos últimos dias tive a oportunidade de participar como instrutor e palestrante convidado no Congresso SRCUC de Cirurgia do Ombro e Cotovelo, realizado nos dias 19, 20 e 21 de março em Timișoara, Roménia.
Este é o principal congresso na Roménia dedicado exclusivamente à cirurgia do ombro e cotovelo, organizado pela Sociedade Romena de Cirurgia do Ombro e Cotovelo (SRCUC).
Durante o evento, abordei temas como a técnica de remplissage, a reparação de roturas da coifa dos rotadores na população idosa e a importância da lateralização na artroplastia invertida do ombro.
A convite da Arthrex, participei ainda em dois workshops:
• Uma sessão de medicina desportiva dedicada à técnica de remplissage e às mais recentes tecnologias tensionáveis em artroscopia do ombro
• Uma sessão focada no planeamento pré-operatório V.I.P. e nas estratégias de lateralização na artroplastia do ombro
